LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING

Advanced Officer Survival
This class will explore a variety of subjects all based around the idea of improving an officer’s ability to survive an attack while on patrol. This will be a hands on class in which each officer will be paired up and practice as well as be at the receiving end of technique. These are tried and tested techniques that are effective for officers of all sizes and abilities. Some of the areas we will work on are: Using the attacker’s energy, Defenses against grabs, Defenses against punches and kicks, Weapons retention in the holster, Nontraditional stun strikes.

Advanced Edged Weapon Defense
The objective of this course is to teach participants effective responses to an edged weapon attack in a close quarter environments.  This course will cover realistic and effective countermeasures highlighting the body mechanics needed to effectively defend against an edged weapon attack. Additionally we will address the various angles of an edged weapon attack, the knowledge of how an attackers use their knives, dynamic movement tactics, limb control & stabilization techniques, disarming techniques, and stunning tactics.

Advanced Weapon Retention
There are people that actually practice techniques to take your weapon. You must counter this by training yourself in methods of retaining your weapon. All techniques taught in this class are simple and very effective. They are based on movement of your center of balance and are equally effective for smaller people as well as large ones. We will work on both holstered weapon retention as well as drawn weapon retention. This class is open to anyone that carries a gun.

Pressure Points for Law Enforcement
This course has been designed to meet the needs of the law enforcement, security and military communities.  This course will cover the use of real world pressure points as a tool of protection and control.  A variety of techniques will be presented.  These are all techniques used in the real world by professionals on a daily basis.  No theory or moon phases in this class.  If you are looking for combat effective pressure point tools – this is your class.

Advanced CQB
This course will focus on managing physical conflict in close quarter situations.  The class will cover both open hand work as well as CQB tactical handgun.  The first day of the class will cover open hand work and force on force scenarios with the use of training weapons.  This will cover close quarter gun fighting situations as well as scenarios designed to force the use of open hand work.  Day two will be on the range and will cover close quarter shooting skills.  You will learn the principles of close range shooting as well as solid tactics for navigating small areas with a drawn and holstered weapon.

LE Advanced Tactical Handgun
This course is designed to enhance Tactical Pistol skills for Law Enforcement Officers. This course will increase the student’s proficiency and confidence in his/her ability to effectively engage threats in emerging situations. Students will undergo pistol marksmanship fundamentals refresher and build into tactical application skills for engaging single and multiple targets from the draw, using stationary and moving firing positions. Students will engage targets from non-standard positions, strong and weak hand shooting, employment of cover and other tactical related techniques.

LE Tactical Carbine
This course is designed to develop enhanced Carbine / Tactical Rifle skills for Law Enforcement Officers. The Tactical Carbine course encompasses marksmanship principles and scenario based instruction to rapidly develop student tactical proficiency and confidence in his/her ability to effectively engage threats with both primary and secondary weapons. Students will engage targets from non-standard positions, strong and weak hand shooting, employment of cover and other tactical related techniques. 

LE Precision Rifle/ Designated Marksman
This comprehensive course is designed for both novice and advanced level LE precision rifle shooters. The curriculum will cover the use and capabilities of the precision rifle system, comprehension of external environmental forces that affect bullet flight and the application of mathematical formulas that result in precise bullet placement on stationary and variable speed moving targets to 800 yards.

LE Tactical Shotgun
This course covers the tactical use of the shotgun. It covers the tactical skills necessary to successfully operate a shotgun in a hostile environment and combines it with a vast array of advanced shooting and manipulation techniques. Students will hone their skills to a razor’s edge in this challenging course. Students can expect to see dramatic increases in their speed, accuracy, and manipulation techniques during this course.

CIVILIAN TRAINING

Defensive Handgun
This course introduces the student to techniques applicable to defensive use of the handgun. Emphasis is put on shooting skill development for application in real-life circumstances. The fundamentals of Mindset, Gun-handling, and Marksmanship are covered in lecture while the practical aspects are taught on the range. Other course topics include Situational Awareness, equipment selection, safety, handling, loading, unloading, malfunction clearance, drawing and firing techniques, single handed firing, firing from cover, multiple targets, movement, and tactics.

Ladies Handgun
By popular demand, Force Options will be presenting a Ladies Defensive Handgun course. This course is designed for beginner and intermediate students. This one day course is designed to familiarize the student with the fundamentals of handguns as well as the principles of defensive shooting. You will acquire all the essential self-defense skills with the handgun in a safe and supportive environment. You will learn gun safety, marksmanship, gun-handling and combat mindset during this fantastic course. This is the perfect class for ladies interested in learning more about handguns in a safe and encouraging format.

Basic Handgun Maintenance
This class is designed to help you become proficient at disassembly, reassembly, cleaning, lubrication, identification of worn or damaged parts, and parts replacement for your handgun. We will discuss diagnosing and fixing recurring malfunctions. After-market parts and modifications are discussed, with an emphasis on what products work and what products do not. We will not be modifying weapons however in this class. This course is essential for any gun owner.
