The TAA is an organization comprised of martial arts, law-enforcement, and military professionals dedicated to developing high caliber defensive tactics and tactical training programs. We all know that martial arts as they are taught traditionally do not fit the needs of modern law-enforcement and military. The TAA is committed to developing programs that utilize centuries old martial art technique and principles, in an easy to understand and use format. Major consideratins in teaching technique in the law-enforcement and military field are many. They range from use of force issues to teachablity and practicality of technique. The TAA addresses each of these issues. Our members are professionals in their fields and bring a unique perspective to the table. The TAA is divided into two membership groups - Certified Defensive Tactics Instructors and Associate members.
We are always looking to expand our ranks with like minded people. People that believe that tradition and practicality can be meshed.
