Force Options invites you to join us for this incredible opportunity to train and shoot with one of the best known and respected firearms instructors in the world. This is a private course and will be limited to a maximum of 15 students - no exceptions. The course will be held in Casa Grande, Arizona - approximately 50 minutes South of Phoenix. We have chosen December as a double bonus because not much can beat Arizona in the winter! This is certain to be one of the best courses you have ever had the opportunity to attend! Larry Vickers is a retired Special Operations Master Sergeant. His entire 20 years of service was spent in US Army Special Operations with fifteen of those years as a member of 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment -Delta (Delta Force). During his time with Delta Force, Larry was involved in weapons research and development and served as a combat marksmanship instructor in addition to being an assaulter.
Larry ultimately feels though that the high point of his military career was early in the morning of December 20th, 1989 when he was one of 23 members of Delta Force who rescued CIA operative Kurt Muse from Modelo Prison in Panama City, Panama. This mission initiated Operation Just Cause and is the first successful hostage rescue operation in modern US military history.
Larry has served as a design consultant for HK, Schmidt & Bender, Surefire, and Insight Technology and is considered one of the best 1911 pistolsmiths in the country. Course Information
This class is for shooters who have had at least a basic pistol class either from Vickers Tactical or any other accredited instructor. State concealed carry certification classes specifically do not qualify. Topics covered include basic pistol topics and the following: malfunction drills, shooting on the move as well as strong hand and weak hand shooting. Introduction to timed fire drills and evaluations based on class skill level. Concealed carry methods are also covered.
Class Requirements
- Eye and Ear Protection (electronic hearing protection is preferred)
- Serviceable handgun of at least 9mm Para caliber
- Serviceable holsterMinimum 1 double magazine pouch
- Minimum of 3 serviceable magazines (5 is better)
- 800 rounds of ammo -factory service type (no reloads)
- Suitable range wear depending on the season
- Good attitude
Prerequisites
All shooters must have a completed a professional defensive / tactical handgun class and have above average skills. You must be able to safely work from a holster and shoot from the draw. CCW certification will NOT qualify you for this course. Your application will be reviewed prior to acceptance into the course.
Course Cost
Cost is $425.00. A non-refundable $100 deposit is due at the time of registration and complete payment is due no later than 30 days prior to the course. You may also make a complete payment at the time of registration.

Fees
$425.00 for 2 Days
Class size is limited. We will not "hold" slots in the course. All participants must complete a registration form and pay prior to being included on the training roster.
Payments for classes are non-refundable. If you withdraw from a course with a minimum of 5 days notice, your payment will be credited towards a future Force Options course. Withdrawls made within the 5 day window will not receive future course credit.
