Executive Protection Training and Certification Course

The Force Options Professional Executive Protection Training & Bodyguard Certification Course is designed to provide training and professional certification. This course is perfect for professionals already working in the field as well as those wishing to start a new career. Our executive protection course covers a wide variety of both high-profile protection, and low-profile covert protection. Training will cover  both armed and unarmed defensive tactics, weapon reaction and defense. You will be trained in threat assessments with relevance to  kidnapping, assassinations, and terrorist action.  Your ability to evaluate risks and threats, and develop active counter measures and preventative strategies, including appropriate judgment in the use of force, verbal skills and tactical techniques, is a point of particular focus in our course.

This is a six day course that builds as it moves. The course will start with open hand combatives and defensive tactics and will build into force on force shooting drills using training weapons and end with tactical handgun training.  We will also train extensively in executive protection scenarios and escort techniques. The intense nature of the course requires that all participants be focused and self-motivated.  Successful graduates of the course will receive certification as an executive protection agent.

Prerequisites

Participants must be 18 years of age and in good physical condition. You may not have any felony convictions nor be under indictment for felony criminal action at the time of certification. It is highly encouraged that you be CPR and First Aid certified prior to or soon after completion of certification. Additionally you must commit to following a standard code of ethics and conduct.

NOTE: This course is limited to participants with advanced firearms skills.  No first time shooters will be accepted.  You will be required to provide certificates of training.  All participants must have solid abilities to draw and fire from concealment.  Acceptable experience is at least 3 IDPA or IPSC competitions, graduation from a recognized firearms school, or professional law enforcement.  An inability to demonstrate these skills during training will result in removal from the course - no refunds.  Please forgive the inflexible nature of these requirements.  We have unfortunately been forced to implement these due to a few previous students claiming higher skill levels than they actually possessed.
