Join us as Bolivar PD hosts the 2012 Defensive Tactics Instructor Certification Course. We will be holding this years course at the Mid-States Organized Crime Information Center inSpringfield, Missouri.
This program is designed to meet the growing need for skilled defensive tactics instructors in both the law enforcement and military arenas. Upon completion of the course you will be awarded the title of Certified Defensive Tactics Instructor. There is a very real and growing need for skilled defensive tactics instructors in the law enforcement community. Agencies are scrambling to provide their officers with effective, credible sources for DT training. This certification course is much more than simply techniques. We will discuss and teach you the proper mindset and presentation to enter into law enforcement defensive tactics instruction.
We will cover the entire spectrum of DT from command presence to handcuffing and lethal forces topics.
The course has been certified by The State of Nevada POST for NV Officers and The State Of Missouri POST For MO Officers.
We have secured a host hotel for this event as well. Participants will get a special rate of $67.99 per night. The hotel is close to the training facility as well as restaurants and entertainment.

Force Options Course Enrolment & Payment Policy
Full payment or deposit (when applicable) is required to hold your seat in a class. It must be received within thirty days of your placement on the class roster.
Full payment must be received at least thirty days from the class start date. If payment does not arrive within this time frame you will be dropped from the class and your deposit is forfeited.
Unexpected family emergencies (Deaths, illness, births, etc.) are the only reasons to drop out from a class without penalty. Within thirty days of the class start date there is no refund except as mentioned. Other cancellations are credited towards a future Force Options class and will be handled on a case by case basis.
Special Consideration will be taken for deploying military & law enforcement.
Force Options presents courses designed for defensive and tactical training. In order to allow you to get the most realistic training possible, our standing policy is NO COMPETITION WEAPONS OR GEAR. Pistol triggers MUST be at least 3.5 lbs with a recommended 5 lbs. Triggers will be tested prior to class.
All participants must provide a COMPLETE training application. These applications are good for a period of one year.
In Accordance with ITAR Regulations, only U.S. Citizens will be accepted to participate in Force Options Tactical Courses.
